Moving on to…

Sekijitsu!!!

Ahem….

HOLYCRAPOMGWOOTOMFGGASP!

I wouldn’t exactly say that I’m abandoning this blog, but I think I’m going to use it as more of a personal blog from now on to be very sporadically updated. ^^

Well, it’s Valentines Day (okay, it WAS Valentines Day….) and that means at the moment everyone is either flaunting their happiness or wallowing in self pity. As for me…..

=w= Yeah.

So to celebrate Valentine’s Day, I decide to make a list of some of my favorite otp’s (many of them sunken ships, unfortunately…) Inspired by Mint’s post at sekijitsu. (Warning: spoilers)

Screw pretending I hope the Precure win and save the world. Fuck the Precure! Dune-sama for the win!!

Episode 45 of Heartcatch Precure has officially awakened the shallow fangirl inside of me. At first I was hesitant to root for the dark side, but sexy evil laughter has caused me to switch teams, even if the outcome is inevitable. Gosick

Short Summary: Victorique is a genius loli who solves mysteries with her bland male companion, Kujo.

Thoughts: Why…couldn’t they just spell it “Victorika?” Or couldn’t they just use “Victoria?” Why must they make it sound SO pretentious? It’s just annoying, much like how titling it “GOSICK” to sound like “GOTHIC” isn’t as unique and cool as I’m sure they think.

But all that aside, I think this series suffered by having a first episode that left no impression on anyone at all and was ultimately forgotten about. It wasn’t that it was bad, just….boring. The mystery was hardly a mystery at all and did not, in any way, show off Victorique’s supposedly amazing detective skills. That being said, Victorique herself is probably the most interesting part of this show so far. She’s ADORABLE, and that laugh….

Needless to say episode 2 was a million times better. If nothing else, that laugh sold it. The art isn’t the best (and I’m also a bit curious as to how she suddenly became so knowledgeable about wine to such a ridiculous extent…I mean, seriously?) but Victorique is pretty likable for a loli. Kujo on the other hand is too generic and boring, and I literally have no hope whatsoever regarding his character.
